MARY MILLER JORDAN
Mary Miller Jordan is an accomplished horsewoman as well as a fellow mustang trainer and advocate. In the spring of 2017, she audited a Mustang Maddy horsemanship clinic held in Nebraska, and she says, “Maddy is really in her element.” She observed how effective Maddy’s training method is, not only for the horse but for the people as well. Mary says that when you work with Maddy, you won’t learn a cookie cutter training method that focuses only on a problem. Instead, Maddy’s program is designed to teach you a problem-solving method for any situation you may find yourself in which will help you become more effective in communicating with your horse.
I learned that I am the biggest reason my horse has issues under saddle and acts fearful around cars and other horses. I have already started to approach everything with him using the tools I am learning from you, and I can say that we are both improving.
DONNA SABENO
Donna is a long time subscriber and was one of the first to complete The 5 Golden Rules Online Course. She says what she learned in the course helped improve the relationship with her mustangs and regardless of where they are in their education, she can apply The 5 Golden Rules and achieve results. Donna also gives accolades to Maddy’s ability to take complex concepts and help break them down into easy to understand the application.
I really appreciate how you tailored your presentation to meet the audience & your patience in answering questions. You made everyone feel important! The whole crowd came away understanding how your kindness & intuition (plus a ton of hard work) came together to make it possible for a zebra & 2 mustangs to preform together with you.
CHAD, ANGIE, & RAIN
Chad and Angie attended a Mustang Maddy horsemanship clinic in Midlothian, Texas with their adopted horse, Rain. They had struggled with Rain’s training and were searching for answers for how to help her. After attending a weekend clinic with Maddy, they saw Rain transform from being dangerous to learning and understanding boundaries. They appreciated Maddy’s ability to teach at the skill level they were at and encouraged them to ask questions to help their learning. At the end of the weekend, they felt connected with their horse and had the ability to communicate with Rain in a way she was able to understand.
I love our (retreat) team of fun outrageously great women, and was so happy to be a part of it. On behalf of all you are doing for humans and mustangs with your kind, effective, and fair gentling methods (the 5 Golden Rules Rock!) I send my deepest thanks, Madison Shambaugh!
BAYLEE HERICKS
Baylee Hericks is one of our members and has followed Maddy for a long time. She is from Colorado and attended the first Gentling Retreat in the summer of 2018 with Maddy. One of the things Baylee loved about the retreat was not only connecting to the wild horse she gentled, but with the other retreat participants using the 5 Golden Rules of Horse and Human Connection. She goes on to explain why it’s going to be easy to take what she learned from the experience and translate it to her daily life.
